The Robert L. Lowe Sr. Foundation proudly introduces the Kenneth Lowe Jr. Community Support Grant, a new initiative designed to strengthen and uplift LGBTQIA+ organizations. Named in honor of our inaugural president's exemplary leadership in equity and inclusion, this grant program represents our deep commitment to creating lasting positive change in our communities.

Grant Overview

We provide annual grants of up to $2,000 to eligible organizations that demonstrate dedication to supporting and advancing the LGBTQIA+ community. Our focus is on smaller, community-driven organizations that make big impacts with limited resources.

This grant honors Kenneth Lowe Jr.'s visionary leadership as the inaugural president of the Robert L. Lowe Sr. Foundation. His dedication to promoting equity and inclusion has set the standard for our foundation's commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Who Can Apply?

Your organization may be eligible if you:

  • Registered Not-for-profit corporation (501c3 not mandatory).

  • Annual operating budget of $100,000 or less.

  • Demonstrated work or commitment to the support and advancement of the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Have sustainable programming initiatives
  • Show responsible financial management

The Selection Process

Our dedicated Selection Committee carefully reviews each application based on:

  • Direct impact on LGBTQIA+ community needs
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Financial responsibility
  • Program sustainability

Timeline

Grants are awarded annually, with specific application deadlines to be announced. The program is initially established for five years, with potential for permanent continuation based on program impact and success.
